Simran Jhanjharya

I’m Simran Jhanjharya, a singer, songwriter, and voice artist based in Mumbai. Music has always been at the center of my life, but it wasn’t something I consciously chose—it was always just there, shaping me. Growing up, I was the kind of kid who found comfort in melodies and words, piecing together my thoughts through music long before I realized I was actually writing songs. My influences range from Lana Del Rey and Arctic Monkeys to A.R. Rahman and Rekha Bhardwaj—I connect with music that makes you feel something. In October 2023, I released my debut single, Jadugari, a song about moments that feel surreal yet unforgettable. It was my first step in shaping my sound, and there’s a lot more to come. Right now, I’m working on new music—singles and an EP set for 2025—while also developing my live performances. I don’t want to be confined to a single genre; I want my music to grow with me. This is just the beginning, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
